HOT POWER YOGA
This is the most traditional class that TYC offers. You are guided through a sequence of classical ancient postures, which are combined with a unique breathing technique. The breathing and moving system creates heat, which detoxifies the body. This class contains elements of strength, endurance and flexibility. Designed for all skill levels, it is modified for beginners, but dynamic enough for the more advanced students. Set to creative, uplifting music, this class incorporates physical, mental and spiritual awakening through the use of intention setting, postures, breathing and meditation. The class is challenging and powerful, yet peaceful and simplistic. Pairing these contrasting elements, it is directed at creating a state of balance and harmony. This class will challenge you to new heights, taking you beyond what you thought was possible. -All levels

YIN YOGA
Open / all levels class
“The balancing practice for your yang style of yoga” Yin Yoga directs the stimulation normally created in the asana portion of the practice deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues (which we are calling the yang tissues). Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Suitable for all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles.
