Reflections from the mat (with due deference to Rolf Gates):
10/8 –Meditating during Yom Kippur while fasting is even more distracting than a numb foot. However, when you get past the hunger, the weakness actually works in your favor. Far less energy to “attach” to anything, and easier just to give into “letting go”
On the other hand, a bagel sounds pretty good right now. :)

10/11 Today I did a 20 minute meditation focused on purifying my own energy & staying true to my convictions. This way, I can positively affect others & the world (since we are all connected…;-)

10/24  –A good day is when I make it to and through a yoga class
A better day is when a teacher teaches me something new in class
A best day is when I have so much fun learning it
10/25 There are so many things I can do in yoga that I never thought would be possible
There are so many others I wish I could do
Oh well, maybe next breath
